A blipvert is a very simple device which takes advantage of a popular internet web site called ‘Twitter’ (www.twitter.com). This web site allows short messages to be sent via many methods to many devices through the concept of “following”.

When an RP Admin begins a scene, or any sort of noticeable action is happening in-game they can send a short message via the twitter system, a “blipvert”. Which will be sent to any subscriber to the user ‘nsse’ on twitter.com. You have several option by which to get this message as twitter integrates with a great number of services, including RSS, and even SMS. Imagine! Runs on your cell phone.
