Overview of Interim Web Character Generation for WildWest

<[This is the overview for implementation of our web chargen for use by you, the player. There are certain key notes that if understood ahead of time, will make transferring your character +sheet from paper/other source to the grid alot easier. It is advised that before starting this process you've successfully created an account on our -=Forum=- This will allow you to continue on to the next phase. Log into our forum, enable cookies, and then come back here to be able to access the Web Chargen.]

Interface

<[Each section is completed in Web Chargen by clicking the 'Update' button located within each entry field. It has an '=' on it. Anything marked with a '-' button can be removed. Also be sure to use [Show Skills] and [Show Gear] to expand the character generator. ]

<[To manipulate Technomancer skills, you will have to adjust your Resonance as well as purchase the Technomancer quality. Mages and Adepts can access their spirits/powers by updating their Magic attribute and purchasing the appropriate awakened quality.]

<[Once again it is important to know how to build a character so as not to overspend BP. Our Chargen does not calculate spent BP accurately. Accessories for Equipment or 'Ware that is purchased and ordered using Chargen will be appropriately linked to their gear, whereas Accessories purchased using ICS will have to be labeled accordingly.]

<[Current bugs regarding BP in our web cg are:
-Miscalculations in regards to BP from foci
-Special qualities that adjust bp, except for those that affect gear bp, might not calculate correctly]

SURGE and Runners Companion MetaTypes

<[There was debate about using Runners Companion in BETA, but here in Wild West, we've found ways for you to include optional races or metavariants and Genetic SURGE Qualities. All Metatypes are available, and should set attribute minimums automatically. SURGE qualities are listed in chargen and will appear on +sheet under the category of Qualities.]

<[For Details on Optional Races/Metatypes check RC pg 46, and SURGE can be found starting on RC pg 96.]

Martial Arts and Maneuvers

Finishing Touches

<[When you're ready to leave Web CG and head on-grid for the next step, click [Done]. Then connect to the New Seattle MUSH, and login with the account login (Not individual character +sheet name) you just created using Web CG.]
